As part of a strategic streamlining initiative and business realignment, a leading multichannel retail player engaged MANAGERIM to oversee a complex transnational restructuring mission involving teams based in France and the Netherlands.
Challenges & Actions:
- Conducted a comprehensive assessment of the organizational structure and financial performance of a key department operating across multiple European sites, identifying structural gaps, HR challenges, and legal risks
- Defined a robust target operating model (headcount, geography, roles, tools) aligned with corporate priorities and compliant with applicable labor laws in both countries
- Designed and executed a legally sound redundancy plan (PSE) in France, alongside a parallel social restructuring strategy in the Netherlands
- Led social dialogue processes with employee representatives, fostering transparency and constructive negotiation throughout
- Drove change management efforts by actively involving operational leadership and local teams in each stage of the transformation
- Ensured compliance with critical milestones, reporting obligations, and formal communications to internal committees and regulatory bodies
- Provided regular updates to the Executive Committee and shareholders regarding plan progress and operational impact

Profile of our MANAGERIM Interim Executive:
- Proven track record in managing complex, international transformation programs
- Extensive senior experience in HR or general management roles across multi-site environments, particularly in Northern Europe
- Demonstrated success in implementing redundancy plans in France and managing workforce restructurings in the Netherlands
- Deep understanding of the retail sector and challenges linked to customer service and administrative operations
- Strategic leader with strong execution capabilities and seasoned negotiation skills
- Full fluency in Dutch, French, English, and German
