The missions of a project management officer (PMO)

The Project Management Officer (PMO) carries out missions of structuring and assisting in the management of projects. He is responsible for ensuring that all the key stages of one or more projects are articulated in the most optimal way possible in order to achieve an effective transformation.

He/she plays the role of facilitator and coordinator.

The missions include various responsibilities depending on the company and context:
