Position: Interim Manager – Payroll Manager – Metallurgy Sector
Context and Mission: Management and stabilization of payroll processes
In a demanding industrial environment, this mission aimed to ensure full autonomy and reliability of payroll operations, while complying with sector-specific collective agreements and legal obligations.
Challenges & Actions:
- Managed the full payroll cycle for 500 payslips per month, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Ensured correct application of collective labor agreements (Metallurgy and Public Works), including bonuses, allowances, and overtime rules
- Oversaw social contributions and mandatory declarations
- Optimized and secured payroll processes, identifying improvements in workflow and systems
- Acted as the main payroll point of contact, advising managers on compensation and social reporting matters
Results:
- Secured and stabilized the payroll process
- Standardized and strengthened payroll practices across the site
Profile of our MANAGERIM Interim Manager:
- Proven experience in payroll management, with strong knowledge of Metallurgy and Construction industry collective agreements
- Skilled in securing and optimizing payroll operations, structuring payroll teams, and handling high-volume periods
- Expertise in complex payroll elements: variable bonuses, overtime, on-call shifts, etc.
- Strong command of HRIS and payroll software (including ADP, Silae, Cegid)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion, methodical mindset, and a strong sense of confidentiality
