What is board advisory?
Why this practice
Interim management is MANAGERIM's core business. Over the years, several key accounts, often international groups such as Orange, EDF, Framatome and Engie, have entrusted us with broader leadership and HR challenges: aligning an executive committee, supporting an executive, transferring critical knowledge, preparing a career transition. We structured this practice to serve them end to end, with a dedicated point of contact and our full range of services:
Board advisory: definition
Board advisory supports executive committees (ExCom), management committees and senior executives in their structural decisions, their transformations and the defining moments of their careers. At MANAGERIM, this premium practice, primarily dedicated to our key accounts, is built around 4 complementary pillars: leadership seminars (Scan > Focus > Act method), executive coaching and organisational sociology training, age management and key knowledge transfer (CAP³ method), and premium outplacement.
Every engagement is tailor-made and led by Partners with backgrounds in executive advisory and former senior executives. After an initial confidential conversation of 20 to 45 minutes, you receive a proposal within 2 to 4 days.

Our services in detail
A complete breakdown of our four areas of expertise
An in-depth look at each pillar: approaches, signature formats, proprietary methodologies, areas of intervention and the concrete benefits you can expect
Leadership Seminars & Executive Advisory
A high-performing leadership team is no longer built solely around figures and processes: it is built around a common vision, mutual trust within the team, collective energy and a shared sense of purpose across the organisation. MANAGERIM designs and delivers programmes focused on decision, alignment and execution, turning a scattered strategic debate into a clear trajectory, explicit trade-offs and actionable plans
Leadership Seminars
Short, high-impact and structuring formats (from a few hours to 2 days) to align your executive or management committee around a specific objective and trigger execution
Executive Advisory & Synthesis Advisory
Support in a coaching and advisory mode throughout a transformation project: structuring hypotheses, facilitating trade-offs, securing execution
Three signature formats, used on their own or combined:
Clarify a strategic trajectoryStrategic Reset
For teams facing a loss of visibility, a market disruption or disagreements over priorities. Structuring hypotheses, comparing scenarios, realigning the leadership team
Accelerate a critical transformationTransformation Accelerator
For organisations that need to accelerate a transformation of their organisation, operations or business model. Identifying the real obstacles, prioritising the levers, securing governance
Settle a sensitive strategic decisionCritical Decision Lab
For situations where a major strategic decision remains blocked or insufficiently examined. Objectifying scenarios, making disagreements explicit, securing a robust decision
Executive Coaching & Organisational Sociology Training
Supporting a senior executive means supporting a manager whose decisions commit the entire organisation. Many engagements start with a difficulty in decoding a professional ecosystem that has become complex: power plays, organisational dynamics, multiple trade-offs. Our approach is based on a strategic, organisational and business reading of leadership situations, enabling executives to act with greater clarity, effectiveness and impact
Executive & Team Coaching
Long-term individual or team support from experienced certified coaches who are former executives themselves — to decode, decide and transform
Organisational Sociology Training (Organisational Decoding)
Rigorous, hands-on training in small groups (6 to 8 people maximum), led by practitioner sociologists — to acquire a powerful framework for reading organisations
Three signature coaching formats, used on their own or combined:
Decode your organisation and identify your levers for actionDecoding & Action
For executives facing persistent resistance, decisions whose effects fall short, or complex power plays to decode. Decoding the dynamics, mapping allies and opponents, building an influence strategy
Succeed in a complex transformation or repositioningTransformation Sponsor
For sponsors of multi-stakeholder transformations, sensitive reorganisations or strategic repositioning. Building coalitions for action, sequencing trade-offs, securing execution
Support a new appointment or a sensitive situationExecutive Onboarding
For newly appointed executives or those facing a delicate or demanding business situation. Building legitimacy, reading the balance of power, steering collective dynamics
Four areas of intervention, worked on simultaneously:
Relationships & power plays
State of relations with key stakeholders and partners, decoding relational issues, power games and rivalries
Decision & execution
Building transformation momentum, setting up governance, dealing with double-bind situations
Vulnerabilities in exercising the mandate
Ability to decide, interact with multiple stakeholders, show initiative and leadership, and work with complexity rather than against it
Managerial dynamics
Delegation, cooperation, team cohesion, managing transition periods, collective mobilisation
Age Management & Key Knowledge Transfer
Longer careers, demographic shifts in the workforce and the growing scarcity of certain expertise are profoundly changing companies' HR challenges. Age management is no longer just a social or administrative issue: it is becoming a strategic issue of operational continuity, know-how transfer and sustainable performance. Particularly relevant for companies with deep expertise, our programmes focus on experts, senior managers and executives who hold strategic knowledge and know-how
Senior HR Policy & Skills Transfer
A comprehensive HR policy and a structured transfer programme to preserve, secure and sustain the skills base held by your experts, senior managers and executives
Innovative Post-Retirement Cooperation Scheme
A alumni expert pool, structured and ready to activate, so you can keep drawing on their know-how on an ad hoc basis as your business needs it, across Europe and internationally
Three strands, independent or combined, designed to ensure the continuity of your skills base
Age Management
Senior HR policy: age pyramid diagnosis, end-of-career paths, anticipating sensitive departures
Key Knowledge Transfer
Map and transfer the expertise held by experts, senior managers and executives (CAP³ method)
Post-Retirement Cooperation
Build an alumni expert pool available for high-value ad hoc assignments, and handle assignment management, administration and quality follow-up
Premium Outplacement & New Career Projects
A 100% individual, tailor-made career transition programme, dedicated to executives, senior managers and experienced managers. Our purpose: to enable each participant to define their future project clearly, taking an active, ownership stance, and then to return to a professional activity that matches their goals, expectations and skills. The programme runs over 6 to 12 months, with a dedicated lead coach-consultant and ad hoc input from experts depending on the topics covered
Two dimensions of support, combined in a single programme:
Clarify your career project and redesign your trajectory
Reviewing your career path, identifying your talents and experiential knowledge, exploring deep motivations, life project, balance, vision for the future, positioning and value proposition
Move forward, take action and be supported over time
Search strategy, communication (CV, pitch, materials), structuring the project, activating the extended MANAGERIM network, operational follow-up and coaching until the project is achieved
Support tailored to each participant's profile and aspirations:

Typical outcomes
